Strengthening communities means strengthening families, schools and non-profit agencies. As such, BiasHELP mentors, trains and supports regional organizations serving at-risk youth.
•BiasHELP participates in a variety of community coalitions, planning groups and task forces designed to coordinate local resources, encourage collaboration and create a united front against violence.
•Bias crimes and acts of violence send a powerful and lasting message of hatred that must be challenged. We work to develop, support and strengthen community voices to ensure a unified public response that is swift and forceful.
•BiasHELP provides technical assistance and training to non-profit youth-serving ogranizations on Long Island. We believe that strong non-profits are vital to creating stronger communities.
